During the weekend of November 16th, 17th, & 18th the Gibbsboro Fire Company sponsored The Vehicle Extrication I class given by the Staff from the Camden County Fire Academy. During this training the members went through 20 hours of training consisting of 12 hours of classroom where the members learned about basic vehicle construction, safety features such as air bags that are found on older as well as newer cars, and the latest information on hybrid cars. In addition, they spent 8 hours of on hands training learning how to stabilize vehicles using cribbing and jacks. They also used rescue tools including the spreaders (some times referred to as the "Jaws of Life"), and "O" cutters.

The members would like to thank the staff from C.C.F.A. for their time. Also we would like to thank our families who willingly gave up the weekend for us to obtain this training.
